Hellier McFarland was engaged by Powell Glenn Architects to undertake an existing
conditions survey of a property at 380 Montague Street, Albert Park. The survey included title re-establishment, features and levels across the site, adjoining property details and elevation details. Three plans were subsequently prepared which were an Existing Conditions Plan, Plan of Survey and a Plan of Elevations. The purpose of the survey was to assist with architectural design and town planning processes associated with the further development of the property.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Lynch Street Holdings Pty Ltd & Jameson Capital (Joint Venture) to undertake the initial land survey, manage the town planning process and finally subdivide the apartment development located at 84 Lynch Street, Hawthorn.
The survey included title re-establishment, features and levels across the site, adjoining property details and two plans were subsequently prepared; an Existing Conditions Plan and Plan of Survey. The purpose of the survey was to assist with the architectural design and town planning processes associated with the apartment development.
Following on from the survey, we prepared, lodged and managed the planning permit application process including the management of consultants, to achieve a planning permit. The permit sought approval for 46 dwellings over five storeys and a waiver of car parking.
Finally, our firm managed the subdivision process including the preparation of Plans of Subdivision and dealings with Council and referral authorities. We note that as of August 2015, the subdivision process was still underway.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Monash University to undertake a large scale feature and level survey of their Caulfield Campus.
The survey included features and levels across the site, underground service location and resulted in the preparation of a set of Feature & Level Survey Plans. The purpose of the survey was to provide Monash with an up to date and accurate record of the campus.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by A Genser & Associates to undertake a large scale Existing Conditions Survey which included features and levels across the site, underground service location and resulted in the preparation of a set of Survey Plans. The survey assisted with the design of the proposed bulky goods development and the subdivision layout.
Hellier McFarland was also engaged to undertake the town planning process associated with the Melton Bulky Goods Centre which was comprised of 51 tenancies over 52,000m² and designed by A Genser & Associated. Hellier
McFarland’s involvement included the preparation and collation of the relevant
planning documents and plans, liaison with Council in relation to the application and achievement of a Planning Permit (VCAT issued) in 2014 in association with Best Hooper.
Finally, Hellier McFarland undertook a two lot subdivision to separate part of the bulky goods land to be used for alternative but compatible land uses.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Prime Equity Group to undertake a large scale Existing Conditions Survey which included features and levels across the site and resulted in the preparation of a set of Survey Plans. The survey assisted with the design of the subdivision and preparation of the Master Plan.
Hellier McFarland was also engaged to undertake the subdivision process associated with the creation of approximately 295 allotments and the associated roads and open space areas. Part of our role was to prepare a Master plan and then proceed with the preparation of the formal subdivision plans, onsite survey and pegging of the allotments ready for release. At the time of writing, stages 1 to 3 have been released to the marketplace.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Little Projects to undertake the subdivision of an approved apartment development.
The development consisted of approximately 356 apartments over 30 levels and Hellier McFarland’s role was to prepare the formal plans of subdivision, prepare owners corporation schedules (in association with the developer and owners corporation manager), measure up the constructed building to define subdivision boundaries and manage the subdivision process through Council.
This project is a good example of Hellier McFarland’s capacity to manage large scale building subdivisions with a high degree of complexity.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Small Giants to initially undertake the initial existing conditions survey of the site and subsequently undertake the subdivision of the approved apartment development.
The development consisted of approximately 24 apartments as well as artists’ studios, a café and retail space and has been heralded as one of the most sustainable developments in Australia to date. Hellier McFarland’s role was to prepare the formal plans of subdivision, prepare owners corporation schedules (in association with the developer and owners corporation manager), measure up the constructed building to define subdivision boundaries and manage the subdivision process through Council.
This project is a good example of Hellier McFarland’s capacity to manage large scale building subdivisions with a high degree of complexity.
Hellier McFarland was engaged by Wolf Group Developments to undertake the initial existing conditions survey of the site, setout the proposed development during the construction phase and subsequently undertake the subdivision of the approved development.
The development consisted of 4 townhouses and Hellier McFarland’s role was to prepare the formal plans of subdivision, prepare owners corporation schedules (in association with the developer and owners corporation manager), measure up the constructed building to define subdivision boundaries and manage the subdivision process through Council.
This project is a good example of Hellier McFarland’s capacity to be involved with many aspects of the project from inception to completion.
Hellier McFarland was engaged by Small Giants to undertake the initial existing conditions survey of the site and subsequently undertake the subdivision of the approved apartment development. Hellier McFarland also prepared a Citipower Substation Lease Plan which was a requirement of the development.
The development consisted of approximately 53 apartments over 6 levels. The survey included title re-establishment, features and levels across the site and adjoining property details. Two plans were subsequently prepared which were an Existing Conditions Plan and a Plan of Survey. The purpose of the survey was to assist with architectural design and town planning processes associated with the Jewish Holocaust Museum.

Hellier McFarland was engaged by Davidov Partners Architects to undertake an existing conditions survey of the property located at 25 Irymple Avenue, Glen Iris. The survey included title re-establishment, features and levels across the site and adjoining property details. Two plans were subsequently prepared which were a Site & Context Plan, elevations and a Plan of Survey. The purpose of the survey was to assist with architectural design and town planning processes associated with the new development.
Hellier McFarland were also engaged to undertake the subdivision of the development which resulted in the creation of two allotments and common property. Hellier McFarland also handled the planning permit application with Council and managed the service authority requirements for the subdivision.
